Move to End Yemen War; The Saudi group begins the discussion

Riyadh: Reportedly, Saudi officials have arrived in Sana’a as part of efforts to end the war in Yemen. Talks starting this week may include declarations to extend the ceasefire and end the war. There will be talks with the Houthis and the Yemeni government. Efforts have also been made to end the conflict.

As part of the talks with the Houthis, the blockade imposed by Saudi Arabia on their controlled area has been lifted. Mediation between Oman and the UN representative is under discussion. The negotiations will focus on the full opening of Yemen’s ports and airports, the distribution of wages to government employees, and regime change. The Yemen Comprehensive Peace Plan is being prepared under the supervision of the UN.

The UN is preparing a draft peace plan that includes a complete ceasefire, the opening of airports, seaports and border posts, a central bank merger, the transfer of prisoners and hostages, and an interim administration before regime change.

Recently, Saudi Arabia has been pouring a large amount of Saudi aid into Yemen’s economic sector.
