On a good dynamic before the play-offs, the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to put the odds on their side. The 2020 NBA champions thus decided, this Friday, to sign Tristan Thompson and Shaquille Harrison for the post-season, according to information from ESPN.
Thompson (32) has not played since April 27, 2022. The 2.06 m Canadian pivot has long shared the field with LeBron James, with whom he won a ring in 2016, in Cleveland. Harrison, a defensive point guard, has played five games for Portland this season, averaging 8.8 points, 6 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 24 minutes per game.
To make room for them, the Lakers intend to cut Davon Reed, who arrived from Denver at the trade deadline. They will play this Sunday for a direct qualification in the play-offs.
