The two men were observed by an employee at around 6 p.m. when they stole from a supermarket, the police said. The woman tried to stop the suspects, which resulted in a scuffle and the young men, aged 18 and 25, fled. The employee called the police.
When police officers recognized the two suspects a little later, they fled once more and ran into a wooded area. The police were able to arrest the 18-year-old, but not the 25-year-old at first. About 15 minutes later, however, the owner of a family home reported to the police that the second suspect was hiding in his garden. He tried to flee once more, but this time officers were able to arrest him.
The two Moroccans confessed to the theft, citing hunger as the motive. You will be shown. The 25-year-old is said to have entered the country illegally and was handed over to the Federal Office for Immigration and Asylum.
