They received their end-of-training certificates on April 8 in Ombessa.
It was during a ceremony chaired by the Representative-Resident of IAI-Cameroon, Armand Claude ABANDA, in the presence of the sponsor of the promotion, Senator Pascal ANONG ADIBIME, the departmental delegate of Basic Education, partners, friends and acquaintances.
Satisfied winners
This is the first batch of learners from the Center of the African Institute of Informatics (AII) of this department. The winners of this first wave, 200 in total, brilliantly followed a quality training punctuated by theoretical and practical courses. “I am really moved by this training, because we were ignorant at the start, but at the end of this training, we are already doing a bit in IT,” confides a recipient.
Knowledge that these teachers are called upon to transmit faithfully to their students: “There are places where children hear regarding the computer, they can recite the components of the computer but they have never had to manipulate the computer. This is why I would like to tell these teachers that they must train our children”, appeal launched by Senator Pascal ANONG ADIBIME, the promoter of the Centre.
Responsible use of knowledge advised
For his part, Armand Claude ABANDA underlined that like these teachers, everyone should go to the school of computer tools and use their knowledge to improve their living conditions, while avoiding digital pitfalls. Clearly, the knowledge thus received should be used responsibly, without seeking to harm others.
The Resident Representative of IAI-Cameroon also paid tribute to the commitment and efforts made by the senator for the popularization of information technology in this department. A sponsor certificate will be given to him for this purpose for this unconditional support that he has always given to initiatives in favor of young people and in particular within the framework of the Mijef2035 project, supported by the First Lady of Cameroon, Chantal Biya.
