Islamabad Police apologize for providing security to New Zealand team – Sports

Islamabad Police has apologized for providing security to the visiting team during the Pak New Zealand series.

According to police sources, officials are giving duties on census, free flour supply and mosque, while PCB has not provided resources and expenses.

Sources of the Federal Police say that the PCB cannot provide security to the visiting team until the expenses and resources are provided.

On the other hand, according to the spokesperson of Islamabad Police, the police has requested the supply of resources from the Ministry of Interior. Security arrangements for the visiting cricket team will be made upon the provision of resources.

Pak New Zealand Series Schedule

The first T20 between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played on April 14, the second T20 on April 15 and the third T20 on April 17 in Lahore.

Apart from this, the fourth T20 of the series will be played on April 20 and the fifth T20 on April 24 in Rawalpindi.

After the T20, a five-match ODI series will begin between the two teams, the first and second ODIs of which will be played on April 27 and 29 in Rawalpindi.

The third, fourth and fifth ODIs of the ODI series will be played in Karachi on May 3, 5 and 7 respectively.
