Bloomberg Agency reported today, Saturday, that the American billionaire, Elon Musk, is visiting China, with the possibility that he will inspect the American car company Tesla’s factory in Shanghai, adding that Musk will accompany Tom Zhou on this visit, who was appointed senior vice president of Tesla (NASDAQ). :TSLA) this month.
The US news agency, quoting informed people, indicated that US billionaire Elon Musk is expected to hold a meeting with local authorities in Shanghai during this visit.
It should be noted that China is a major market for Tesla, and Tesla has enjoyed many perks, including tax breaks, over the years as it expanded in the country, building its first overseas factory in Shanghai.
And the American company, Tesla, had lowered the prices of the models that were produced in its huge factory in Shanghai last October. The prices of locally manufactured Tesla cars were also reduced last January, by up to 14% compared to last year, and in some cases they became less expensive by nearly 50% compared to the United States and Europe.
