Again and once more, car fans meet illegally in Swiss rest stops and parking lots. The police often show up, check the cars and distribute buses. Around 150 tuning fans met with their cars in Bremgarten AG on Friday evening. But here everything was orderly, the police never came.
The reason: It was an organized and legal meeting. It’s a place to come together, talk regarding the car and show what’s new regarding it.
Because: “Everything has been agreed,” explains Aaron. The organizers had been in contact with the company that owns the space and obtained permission to use it. During the week, the police were also informed, they knew what was going on where. “So far there have never been any problems, cooperation with the police is good.”
This is certainly also due to the rules that the organizers have set up and communicate clearly upon arrival. Revving the engine and driving too fast are forbidden. Anyone who violates the rules will be warned first and blacklisted for the second violation. “Then he’ll be turned away at the next meeting,” explains Aaron.
At the meeting in Bremgarten AG, everyone followed the rules. The only time they drove fast was in the race on the bobby cars.
