Sanne Cant transported to Lille hospital after her heavy fall during Paris-Roubaix ladies

The collective fall that ended Lotte Kopecky’s hopes also ended Sanne Cant’s Paris-Roubaix (Fenix-Deceuninck) on Saturday. The cyclo-cross specialist sustained an open head injury.

Sanne Cant, who was doing an excellent race at the time, had to retire due to a haemorrhage in the head and was transferred to Lille hospital for treatment.
