In the OÖN test, the limousine received only praise: extremely economical, good range, top equipment. Now Mercedes is – logically – pushing the SUV variant: the EQE SUV, the electric version of the E-Class. With a length of 4.86 meters, 26 centimeters shorter than its big brother, the EQS, the EQE is much more compact. This is also in comparison to the sedan, which is ten centimeters longer.
Three displays unite on the inside to form a 141 centimeter wide hyperscreen, the clever route planning shows charging stops. A heat pump for the battery, whose capacity Mercedes does not reveal, is standard. You can choose between a rear-wheel drive (180 or 215 kW) and an all-wheel drive (215 or 300 kW). Range: up to 580 kilometers. Starting price: 88,320 euros.
