It’s a horrible discovery that Aurélie made, following going shopping at Lidl. On March 1, she prepares lunch before going to work. She then thawed two chopped steaks purchased from Lidl, reports La Dépêche.
Aurélie, who lives in Lot, in the southwest of France, says: “I chew and I feel something hard in my mouth”. She continues: “I spit it out right away and there, I discover a bone of 2 to 3 cm, and next to it, small bones and tufts of hair”. She first thinks the meat is stale and forbids her son to eat it.
It was actually rat hair. Panicked by this horrible discovery, Aurélie runs to the doctor for a blood test. If nothing abnormal is detected, she says she now has a “psychological block. “I can no longer eat meat or anything that has already been prepared,” she confides. Lidl granted him a compensation of 15 euros of gift card.
