Vienna – Last year, 47 million overtime hours worked were not compensated by the employer – neither with money nor with time off. This corresponds to around every fourth hour of overtime and is significantly more than before. In recent years, there have been an average of around 40 million overtime hours, the Chamber of Labor (AK) Vienna wrote on Friday, referring to a special evaluation by Statistics Austria prepared for the AK. The Chamber of Commerce (WKÖ) rejected the allegations.
