It’s late but Nintendo has no time to offer us a new trailer for Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp! It is in the company of the developers WayForward that our Japanese friends reveal to us a preview of the future remake of the game released in Europe in 2002. 21 years later, what will these studios offer us?
Trailer “Overview”
Five minutes long, we learn that there will be two playable campaigns, as its (long) name suggests! These two scenarios revisit the plots of the first eponymous opus, and the second game entitled Advance Wars : Black Hole Rising. The second title, to make the British group Muse pale, will allow select the most tactical characters to send into battle! You can even go to war with your friends in the Mode Versus !
This video teaches us the basics of combat. Taking place on a tactical grid, we discover that the gunners will move more slowly than the mobile infantry. All in all quite logical! Many land, air and sea battles await you! Touched flowed !
Capture enemy buildings or annihilate them, all the ingredients for war come together in these video games! Fortunately, it’s for playing! In the same way as a classic RTS, build your own buildings, which will allow you to generate ever more units. A tactical war is brewing ! Will you be the Napoleon of Austerlitz or that of Waterloo?
Plus, to spice things up, each of your commanders will exploit super powers. That they are able to repair all damaged units, trigger natural disasters or weaken all enemies with a single blow, anything is possible to turn the tide of a battle! And even if you don’t succeed, you will always have the possibility of restart the roundin order to know in advance the moves of the adversaries!
In short, in a nutshell, it’s war and everything is permitted !
