Thousands of people gathered in the town of Tañarandy, located in the department of Misiones, where the traditional procession with torches and apepú lamps took place. Avei the attraction was in the living paintings, which are theatrical representations of works by great painters alluding to the Passion of Christ.
The celebration, like every year, was headed by the artist Koki Ruiz in addition to the collaboration of some 300 people.
The procession starts at the chapel of Tañarandy, on the outskirts of the locality of San Ignacio Guazú, and travels a rural road, illuminated with torches and candles.
