In the United Kingdom, a couple brought up their wedding so that their dog with cancer might attend, further showing that for many people pets form one essential part of the family. They wanted to share that special day with Bruce, their dog’s name, as they do every day of their lives.
It all started when Danielle and Estelle nThey noticed that Bruce had white gums and a blue tongue. They got very scared and immediately took him to the vet. They detected a pleural effusion (excess fluid between the lungs and the chest) and following carrying out several tests, they found cancer in his chest.
The vet reported that Bruce he had very few days left. “They told me to say goodbye to him over the weekend as he might not make it through the main operation. He came in on Monday and they did the seven hour operation and they had to remove some ribs because of the cancerous mass,” Estelle reported.
Despite the treatments and chemotherapy, he only had four months to live, so they decided to advance the wedding so that he might attend.
For the ceremony, Bruce wore a vest with a shirt included and a black tie. The couple they made him participate in every moment and he wouldn’t stop wagging his tail.
Definitely He has spent the best moments with his owners And now they continue to fight to keep him alive. Estelle put him on holistic treatment, and says that he is doing ”very well”. They even expect him to live much longer than they have predicted.
