A 13-year-old boy in Britain has been jailed following being found guilty of attempted rape and multiple sexual assaults on four women.
The child’s name cannot be released for legal reasons, but he was charged with nine counts of sexual assault, two counts of attempted rape and assault.
According to the report, during the trial at Kidderminster Youth Court in the UK on April 4, it was told how a boy “dressed in school uniform” assaulted the women in Shropshire between 4pm and 5.30pm. What did
However, the child told the arresting cops that it was a case of mistaken identity.
During an interview with police, the boy admitted that he was present at some of the crimes, but denied any responsibility.
He claimed that there was another unknown person who might be responsible for the attacks.
During the hearing, the court was told that the child committed the first sexual assault on December 15, 2022. Then committed it 6 times, and committed other crimes within just three days between January 17 and 19 of the current year.
During the hearing, Judge Ian Strongman said: “One of the reasons why these attacks failed, to put it mildly, is that the defendant was only 13 years old.”
“I have no doubt that in a few months he will be strong and long-lasting and may pose a real threat to women,” the judge said.
He added that the women “showed courage and determination” to bring the boy to justice.
Detective Sergeant Chris Henry said: “I would like to thank the victims for their bravery in providing evidence to the court, which led to today’s verdict.”
“Thankfully, such attacks are rare, but women are assured that we will not hesitate to act whenever something like this happens,” she said.
The child, from Telford, might not provide any evidence in his own defense and was found guilty.
The boy is facing prison time for these crimes, but the court has yet to decide how long he will spend behind bars. He is due to be sentenced at Shrewsbury Crown Court on May 5.
