The Israeli army announces the start of bombing sites in the Gaza Strip

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Israeli army began bombing sites in the Gaza Strip in response to the missile attacks that Israel received on Wednesday and Thursday, following developments in Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday evening between Israeli security forces and Palestinians.

The Israeli army wrote on its official page on Twitter: “The Israeli Defense Forces are bombing Gaza.”

The sounds of warplanes and supposed explosions resulting from the bombing of sites west and east of Gaza City were heard, according to a journalist in Gaza.

Rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip towards Israel, while the Israeli army announced the activation of warning devices in the open areas bordering the Strip.
