PSG promotes the renewal of subscriptions in the Parque de los Príncipes without Messi

Paris Saint-Germain released a video regarding the season ticket renewal campaign at the Parc des Princes for the upcoming season with the presence of Kylian Mbappé and without the Argentine Lionel Messi, which is another indication of his departure from the club at the end of his contract.

RMC Sport reported today that both Messi and the Brazilian Neymar are not in the recording that PSG sent to its subscribers promoting the conservation of their sites in the stadium that belongs to the Parisian commune.

In the clip, available on YouTube, Mbappé is the figure and appears in the Parque de los Príncipes rostrum highlighting the importance of the support of the fans in a speech interspersed with images in which the young players from the squad appear, such as Ismaël Gharbi, Warren Zaire-Emery and Nuno Mendes.

“The atmosphere, the terrain, Parque de los Príncipes involves many things, he is the 12th player,” says Mbappé.

“Being Parisian is being proud of who we are, of what we represent, of being ambitious, wanting to do things, wanting to win, always improving ourselves and never forgetting where we come from,” said the top scorer at the Qatar World Cup.

However, hours following the news broke, The French star used his social networks to clarify: “At no time was I informed of the content of the interview with my interlocutor. It seemed like a basic meeting in a club marketing day. I do not agree with this video posted.”

“That’s why I fight for individual image rights. PSG is a great club and a great family, but it’s not Kylian Saint-Germain.”concluded

The choice to put only Mbappé as a benchmark for PSG, and forget regarding Messi and Neymar, It reflects the will to center the project around the Frenchman and can also be interpreted as a clue regarding the future of the South American stars.

Messi ends his contract on June 30 and everything seems to indicate that he will not continue in Parisdue to the collective failure in the European Champions League and the very bad relationship it has with the fans, who whistled the Argentine world champion in the last two home games.

As for Neymar, absent until the end of the season following a new ankle injury, he is linked to PSG until 2027, but they will seek to get rid of him.

Without Messi and Neymar, two very high contracts, PSG might rebuild the squad around Mbappé, 24, who last year ensured his stay at the club until 2025.
