news body

Overwatch 2, which anyone can play for free, officially introduces a new support hero, Lifeweaver, along with Season 4 scheduled for April 12 (Wednesday). Overwatch’s 37th hero, Lifeweaver, hails from Thailand, has love and respect for nature, and is the inventor of advanced bio-light technology. This epoch-making technology makes up all of Lifeweaver’s skills, and forms the core of the hero’s healing and auxiliary abilities.

Lifeweaver’s playstyle introduces new mechanics previously unseen in Overwatch. Throws a ‘lotus platform’ that rises up when stepped on, launching allies into the air, pulling them to a safe place with ‘Hand of Salvation’, and maintaining the vitality of teammates with ‘Healing Flower’.

The Lifeweaver’s versatile abilities that significantly improve the survivability and convenience of the entire team include:

● Healing Flower: Press and hold to collect healing energy, then release to heal target ally.

● Thorn Burst: Fires projectiles at high speed.

● Lotus Platform: Creates by throwing a platform that rises upward when an enemy or ally steps on it.

● Light Step: Shortly sprints in the direction you are moving and recovers a small amount of your HP.

● Hand of Salvation: Pulls an ally to your location. Protect target ally while pulling.

● Farewell Gift (Passive): Leaves a gift when you die. The gift heals the health of the first ally or enemy acquired.

● Tree of Life (Ultimate): Place a tree at the target location. The tree heals allies the moment it grows, and periodically heals allies therefollowing while alive.

Meanwhile, from today to 3:00 am on the 12th, all players who enjoy Overwatch 2 through PC and console will receive a ‘double experience’ benefit. During the period, the additional experience boosting, which is one of the Overwatch 2 PC room benefits provided by Blizzard member PC rooms, is applied as before.
