Well thought-out traffic measures should ensure a smooth journey to the Friedenskircherl
Schladming – The ascent to the Friedenskircherl on the Stoderzinken, which was named the most beautiful place in Austria by the ORF in the program “9 places – 9 treasures” last year, is to be newly regulated. To this end, the operators of the Stoderzinken Alpenstraße have developed a new visitor management concept together with the municipalities of Aich and Gröbming and with the support of the Schladming-Dachstein Tourist Association.
What is new from May 1st is that when the maximum capacity is reached, there will be access restrictions for private transport. Shuttle buses are available for guests to ensure a comfortable journey. In the future, coaches will need a reservation to travel up the Stoderzinken.
In this way, the region wants to make an important contribution to sustainability and increase the quality of experience for guests. The Friedenskircherl is not only a popular destination, but is also one of the most important landmarks of the Styrian Ennstal.
