The FBI and the Pentagon cooperated to carry out highly sensitive training on the security level, but the agents who undertook the task made a mistake that seemed unforgivable to some, especially since it took a long time before it was rectified.
And US media reported that “FBI” and “Pentagon” agents stormed the wrong room in a hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, while carrying out a training simulating the deployment of personnel from these two sides in an operational environment.
American security agents handcuffed the man, a pilot in his thirties, and stuffed him in the bathroom shower for 45 minutes, where they subjected him to a harsh investigation, before they discovered that they were in the wrong place.
According to the local WBZ channel, FBI and Pentagon agents knocked on the unidentified pilot’s room at the Boston Revere Hotel.
The FBI acknowledged in an official statement that the raid took place late on Tuesday evening, April 3.
An officer in the US security apparatus told the British newspaper “Daily Mail” that his agents and those of the “Pentagon” were conducting a “fake investigation” to simulate operational conditions.
The security forces knocked on room 1505 of the hotel, where they asked those in it to enter, noting that the one who was in the room was a pilot in the “Delta” company, and at that time he was in a deep sleep.
The pilot was awakened by a knock on the door, and following he complied with the order, he began a nightmare scenario of interrogation, as his hands were handcuffed and he was crammed under the bathroom shower.
After the American security forces discovered their mistake, they apologized to the pilot and took off his handcuffs.
The hotel security and the police, from which a force rushed to the place, were informed that the FBI and the Pentagon were conducting training in the place.
The pilot said he needed to speak with the company before making any statement.
The FBI admitted that the error occurred as a result of inaccurate information, so the security team sent to the wrong room and interrogated someone other than the person who was prepared for this training.
