FIFA Ranking: Argentina top for the first time in six years

For the first time in six years, world champions Argentina topped the FIFA rankings issued Thursday, ahead of France and Brazil.

After winning the Qatar 2022 World Cup for the third time in its history, the Argentine national team won two friendlies once morest Panama (2-0) and Curaçao (7-0).

The former leader, Brazil, was the biggest loser, by falling to third place following its friendly loss to Morocco 1-2 on March 25 in Tangiers. At the start of her career in the 2024 European Cup qualifiers.

Morocco is the first in Africa and the Arab world

With the exception of the top three, the top ten did not witness any change, leaving Belgium fourth, followed by England, while the exchange of positions between Senegal (18) and Denmark (19) was the other change in the top twenty ranks.

In the Arab world, the Moroccan national team remained in eleventh place (1677.79 points) following completing its fourth place in the 2022 World Cup. Algeria advanced (34) six places, Egypt (35) four, while Saudi Arabia retreated (54) five places.
