Holy Week; Preparations are complete in the Syro Malabar Church in Ireland

Dublin: Preparations for Holy Week have been completed in the Syro-Malabar Church in Ireland. We entered into the Holy Week with Oshana at all the Mass Centers. The schedule of services for Easter Thursday has been published. All ten Dublin Syro-Malabar Church Masses will hold Easter services this year.

Thursday at Swords River Valley St. Finian’s Church at 10 a.m. Blackrock Guardian Angels Church at 10:30 a.m. Navan Johnstown Church of the Nativity, Phibsborough Glasneville at Our Lady of Victorious Church at 11 a.m. Bray St. Fergal’s Church at 2 p.m. Blanchardstown Hunstown Church of the Sacred Heart at 3.30 p.m. At Nativity at 4:00 p.m., at Tala Fetterkein Church of the Incarnation at 5:00 p.m., and at Lucan Divine Mercy Church at 8:00 p.m.

Dukhavelli services will be held at 7:30am in Lucan, 8:00am in Swords, 8:30am in Blackrock, 9:00am in Blanchards Town, 10:00am in Tala, 11:00am in Bray and Phibsborough and 3:00pm in Rialto. There will also be a Stations of the Cross at 1.30pm at St Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlais. Big Shani Thirukarmas will be held on Saturday at 8:30 am in Blanchards Town, 9:30 am in Thala and 11 am in Lucan. There will be fresh water, fresh fire, and baptismal vows. All 11 Masses will have services Saturday evening and Easter Sunday.

Long Ford

The Way of the Cross will be held at Longford St Mel’s Cathedral Church on Easter Sunday at 11.30am, Good Friday at 3.45pm in Mullingar and Easter Celebrations following Mass at 3.30pm on April 9th.

Galway

In Galway, Easter services will be held at 1.30pm, Passion Friday services at 9.30am and Easter Sunday at 4pm with an Easter Mass and Love Feast. Fr. The Holy Week meditation, led by Jojo Mathew Thalikasthanam, will be held on Easter Thursday and Good Friday. Services will be held at Merview Holy Family Church

Cavan

In Cavan, the Passover Mass will be held at 3:30 p.m. At 11 a.m. on Good Friday, there will be a Way of the Cross and the Requiem. Easter Mass will be held on Saturday, April 8 at 5 pm

Limerick

Easter services will be held at St. Mary’s Syro Malabar Church, Limerick at 1 p.m., Dukhavelli services at 9 a.m., and Resurrection services at St. Paul’s Church at 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 8.

Waterford

Services will be held in Waterford on Easter Thursday at 3:30pm and Good Friday at 6:30pm. Easter services will be held on Saturday at 4 p.m. The Bishop of Waterford, Alphonse Cullnell, will be the Chief Guest at the Easter celebrations. The rites will be held at Nutown Delaware College.

Belfast

Bishop Mar Stephen Chirapanath, European Apostolic Visitor of the Church of Syro-Malabar, will officiate this year’s Big Week in Bell Fast. Masses will be held on Easter Thursday at 5pm and Friday at 10am. Easter services will be held on Saturday, April 8 at 9:15 p.m. There will also be Mass on Easter Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

Kilkenny

Easter services will be held at 3:00 p.m. in St. Canice Church. Good Friday will be at 11:30 a.m. and Easter services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Cork

Passover services will be held at Wilton SMA at 4 p.m. Good Friday Masses will be held at 4:00pm and Easter Masses will be held at 4:30pm on Saturday.

Letterkenny

St. Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Community’s Easter Mass will be held at 4:00 pm at the Irish Matriarchs Church. Good Friday liturgies will be held at 5pm and Easter liturgies will be held at 11pm on Saturday.
