TAP CEO hired French friends with “more expensive” salaries, accuses Alexandra Reis
“I understood, at the time, to give directions to the team because in addition to a potential conflict of interest, the acquisition [de serviços] it was neither budgeted nor foreseen and did not correspond to a need”, justified Alexandra Reis during the commission of inquiry to TAP (CPI) in which she has been heard since this followingnoon.
Floyd Murray Widener, who performs commercial functions at the British software company, even made a presentation of solutions to the public company. The former administrator mentions that she had “no conversation with the CEO on the subject”. “I have no evidence or indication that she [a CEO] wanted to make this contract”, he said.
Christine Ourmières-Widener, however, devalued the episode. Questioned yesterday on the subject by deputies at the CPI, she said she did not understand the issues since “there was no contract signed” with Zamna Technologies and that TAP opted “for another solution”.
