In an Instagram video posted on Monday, the ‘Wolverine’ star updated fans on a recurring illness that explained his bandages on his nose. “I just did two biopsies,” he shared.

He then revealed that his doctor had seen “little things that may or may not be basal cell cancer.”

The Aussie actor revealed he would have the results in “two or three days”. “And as soon as I find out, I’ll let you know,” promised Hugh Jackman.

He also warned his followers in the northern hemisphere to use sun protection before exposing themselves during summer activities to avoid skin cancer.

“Just to remind you, basal cell cancer is the least dangerous skin cancer. However, if I may just take this opportunity to remind you that summer is coming, he said. Please wear sunscreen. It’s just not worth it, no matter how badly you want to be tanned. Believe me.”
