Social security aid distribution to the needy during Ramadan has started in Saudi Arabia. For this, the ruler King Salman has given permission to distribute 300 crore Riyals. Under the Social Security Assistance Scheme, a family will receive 1,000 Riyals and 500 Riyals per family member.

Officials informed that the money has been deposited into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries from today. Special assistance is distributed during Ramadan to widows, orphans, the unemployed, the elderly, the disabled, and those who are eligible for the Saudi government’s social welfare assistance.
The Ministry of Human Resource and Social Development Affairs said that assistance will also be distributed to those eligible for marriage assistance, housing loans, low income earners and victims of natural calamities.
