Caxito hosts meeting of the Dande Free Zone – news

This Thursday, April 6th, in Caxito, Bengo province, the presentation meeting of the Dande Free Zone to the academic community of that region of the country takes place.

The aim, according to a communiqué from the organization, sent to the Kianda’s mailis to approach the Academic Community and create opportunities for partnership and cooperation within the scope of this project.

It is also intended to jointly define strategies for preparing Human Capital to absorb the jobs to be created in the area.

“With a view to ensuring the economic and social development of the country and the province of Bengo, in particular, through Presidential Order No. 62/21, of May 6, the Barra do Dande Free Integrated Development Zone was created ( ZFDIBD), commercially known as Dande Free Zone (DFZ), with regarding 5,465 hectares, located in the Commune of Barra do Dande, having been designated the Sociedade de Desenvolvimento da Barra do Dande, SA (SDBD) as the managing entity of the said Free Zone ”, states the document.

Accordingly, in line with its plan of activities, Sociedade de Desenvolvimento da Barra do Dande, SA (SDBD) will hold tomorrow, April 6, 2023, from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, at the Armed Forces Social Security Fund Delegation Amphitheater Angolans, municipality of Caxito, province of Bengo, the “Meeting to present the Free Trade Zone of Barra do Dande to the Academic Community”.

The purpose of the Meeting is to get closer to the Academic Community, create opportunities for partnership and cooperation within the scope of this project, jointly define strategies for preparing Human Capital to absorb the jobs to be generated by the Dande Free Zone and receive opinions/ suggestions.

The activity will count with the presence of specialists of the sector, in the format Ted Conference Businessdistributed in the following panels.

The first panel will be used for the General Presentation of the Project, while the second will be the
Strategic Partnership Opportunity with the Academic Community.
