The Port Said Security Directorate received notification of his death, causing their leaders, police officers, and an ambulance to respond to the scene. Major General Medhat Abdel Rahim, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Port Said Security, was killed today, Wednesday, in a car accident on the June 30 corridor, south of Port Said.
Port Said Security Directorate received a notification of the death of the security director, as a result of a car accident on the June 30 corridor, south of Port Said, so the directorate’s leaders, police officers and an ambulance moved to the site of the accident.
The body was transferred to the hospital, and the necessary procedures are being completed.
The death of Major General Medhat Abdel Rahim is a tragic loss for Port Said and the entire country. As the Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Port Said Security, he dedicated his life to ensuring the safety and security of his community.
