Detroit: The wind is hurting maritime connections, again

The East wind continues to exert its dictate on navigation in the Strait. Its gusts of nearly 60 km / h with waves of 4 meters complicated the crossing for the ferries making the crossing. At the level of the Tanger-Ville-Tarifa line, the line which is served by fast ferry type boats, has been completely closed, with no departures scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. On the Algeciras-Tangier Med line, several cancellations were recorded on Wednesday, while on the Algeciras-Sebta line, only one standard ferry type boat is still in operation.
