Boston Bruins win the President’s Trophy

The Boston Bruins are early winners of the President’s Trophy.

The dominant team of the NHL season can no longer be caught following a 2-1 following overtime over the Columbus Blue Jackets seven games before the end with 121 points and will end the regular season as the team with the most points.

Match winner is David Pastrnak with his 53rd goal of the season following 41 seconds of overtime.

This is also made possible by the Detroit Red Wings, who surprised and slowed down the Carolina Hurricanes with a 3:2 win without Marco Kasper (read HERE>>>).

300th NHL goal for McDavid

Connor McDavid scored his 300th NHL goal in a 2-0 win over the Los Angeles Kings. The Oilers are level with the Minnesota Wild in the Western Conference, both teams two points behind leader Vegas Golden Knights, who lost 3-4 following overtime to the San Jose Sharks. The Kings are another point behind.

With a 2-1 win in a direct duel, the New Jersey Devils brought four points between them and the New York Rangers, who are visiting the Washington Capitals in the LAOLA1 LIVE game on Sunday (from 7:00 p.m. in the LIVE stream>> >).

Meanwhile, the Capitals’ playoff chances continue to dwindle with a 5-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning as the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Nashville Predators 2-0 at the same time. With six games remaining, the seven-point deficit to the last wild card seems to be a theoretical project, because the Florida Panthers (5-2 over the Montreal Canadiens) and the Ottawa Senators (5-4 following overtime over the Philadelphia Flyers ) are on the hunt for this one.

The Seattle Kraken are fast approaching their first playoff appearance with a 4-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks. The St. Louis Blues continued their late rise with a 5-3 defeat of NHL bottom-placed Chicago Blackhawks.
