Finally, here is the state daily, the long-awaited daily. His name is SIDWAYA which means in the national Moore language the truth has come. The publication of a state daily, the first in our political history, was an urgent necessity for the August Revolution when we know the importance of the newspaper in the political and ideological struggle that the Voltaic revolutionary movement must deliver without respite. once morest the reactionaries and their various organizations seasoned in misinformation, intoxication and spiritual hype. With SIDWAYA, the August Revolution has just acquired an essential tool for the information of propaganda, agitation and permanent mobilization of the people for the development and consolidation of our democratic and popular Revolution. SIDWAYA must to be at the same time the voice of the Voltaic people and of all its revolutionary organizations to express every day its concerns, its aspirations and to magnify its struggles once morest its enemies for the construction of a new Upper Volta freed from domination and exploitation imperialist.
SIDWAYA will also be the messenger of the Voltaic revolution to other peoples and their organizations of struggle to bring them the internationalist solidarity of Upper Volta of August 4 and to enrich themselves with their experiences in order to always serve more and better the Revolution of August 4, an integral part of the world revolutionary movement. Educate our people in the truth, always telling the whole truth regarding their enemies so that they know them better and flush them out. Even in their last entrenchments to fight them resolutely by spreading the whole truth regarding the success and the difficulties of the struggle of the Voltaic revolutionary movement for the construction of a new society must also be one of the reasons for being of SIDWAYA. SIDWAYA is therefore a precious tool and one more weapon in the hands of the National Council of the Revolution and the revolutionary government to launch the revolution. .
