From April 5 to 8, 2023, the 5th session of the International Cashew Advisory Council (CICC) is being held in Ivory Coast. A Burkinabè delegation led by the minister in charge of agriculture and that in charge of trade and industry should in principle be part of the side of the actors of the cashew sector structured around the Burkinabè cashew council (CBA ). This fifth meeting of the Council of Ministers of the International Cashew Consultative Council will include a meeting of experts which will allow technicians to work on the documents prepared by the Executive Secretariat for the attention of the Council of Ministers.
On the sidelines of this international advisory council will also be held the SIETTA (International exhibition of cashew processing equipment and technologies) under the theme “Contribution of the cashew industry to the resilience of African economies in the face of global economic challenges. It aims to increase the local added value of the cashew nut by creating the conditions for investor accessibility to processing equipment and technologies.
