Baghdad and Erbil sign an agreement to export Kurdistan’s oil

The Iraqi government and the authorities of the northern Kurdistan region signed an agreement allowing the resumption of the region’s oil exports to Turkey, starting from Tuesday, following a 10-day hiatus, according to officials.

An official in the Kurdish regional government told «Agence France Presse» that the agreement, which was signed in Baghdad in the presence of Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani and Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, begins to be implemented “today.”
