After three years of silence, the cenacle of French doctors will look into the scientific controversy over a potential laboratory accident in Wuhan.

C’is the end of a taboo. After three years where the debate was almost non-existent in the major French scientific institutions, the National Academy of Medicine will organize, the followingnoon of April 18, 2023, a special session very explicitly titled: “From the origin of Sars-CoV-2 to dangerous virology/biology. The debate, scheduled for three hours, is obviously oriented towards examining the possibility of a research accident in Wuhan linked to modifications of the virus in the laboratory, not including interventions on the trail of a natural origin, through the trade in wild animals in the Huanan market around which the first cases are concentrated.

The same day, in the United States, a parliamentary commission of inquiry should hear the former national director…
