Cybertruck: Tesla publishes video with impact test that shows nothing

Expected for regarding four years, the Cybertruck may be close to having more details revealed, such as its impact test. But that’s not exactly what Tesla published on its social networks last Saturday (1st). The video of regarding 40 seconds that Elon Musk’s automaker posted on Twitter shows the car in motion in an apparent impact test whose most interesting part is vetted from viewers.

The video shows the car from different angles, in slow motion, but this is just repeated throughout the entire video. Many users saw the case as an April Fool’s Day prank.. Even so, it is possible to see the puppets inside the car, as well as an audience, behind a glass, looking forward to the crash.

It remains to be seen whether the automaker will release the full video with details of the impact of its electric pickup truck with a distinctive and futuristic look. Its great asset, promises the company, will be its abnormal resistance. The vehicle, however, is already considered late, as its production should have started in 2021, a period that was delayed due to technical difficulties and problems in the manufacture of batteries.

The start of sales was postponed to this year and, now, Musk guarantees that the first pickup trucks will be delivered to pioneering owners in the second half of this year.
