The Local Board of the National Electoral Institute (INE) in the State of Mexico, announced that there will be two prototypes of electronic ballot box that will be used on electoral day on June 4, which will not be connected to any type of network to avoid hacks.
When its functionality was made known to the Electoral Councilors and representations of Political Parties, it was maintained that the transmission of data will be carried out through the QR code of the minutes.
The two models of electronic ballot box to be used in 36 electoral sections are: 64 ballot boxes designed by the Jalisco Electoral Institute, and 100 under the 7.0 model designed by the INE engineering area.
It was reported that the ballot boxes have already begun to arrive in the Mexican entity, this with the objective that polling station officials, Electoral Assistant Trainers and Electoral Supervisors begin to familiarize themselves with its operation.

Similarly, the INE has announced that it will be next April 14 when the electronic ballot box will be presented to the media, political parties and councilors in the auditorium of the Electoral Institute of the State of Mexico (IEEM).
In another section, the penultimate update on the number of polling stations to be installed on Election Day, indicates that 6,561 basic polling stations, 13,151 contiguous polling stations, 62 special polling stations and 728 extraordinary polling stations are contemplated.
