Following the 1-1 draw once morest Beerschot on the 5th day of the playoffs for the rise of the Challenger Pro League, the RWDM retained first place with 56 points, one ahead of their only competitor, Beveren Yan Vorogovskiy opened the mark for the people of Brussels (47th) and Jan Van den Bergh (51st) equalized for Beerschot (43 points, 4th).
From the outset, the RWDM had a big chance when on a ball extended from the head by Alexis de Sart badly negotiated by Hervé Matthys, Kylian Hazard had the free way towards Bill Lathouwers, who deflected the shot from the Molenbeekois (2nd) .
