Group BTS Jimin’s first solo album ‘FACE’ ranked second on the ‘Billboard 200’ in the US. This is the highest ranking among Korean solo artists.
According to the Billboard announcement on the 2nd (local time), Jimin’s solo album ‘Face’ entered the Billboard’s latest chart (April 8) ‘Billboard 200’ at No. 2. Billboard said, “‘Face’ recorded album sales of 124,000 copies in the first week, which is the third largest weekly total sales this year and the highest record among solo artists.”
Previously, Jimin’s pre-released song ‘Set Me Free Pt2’ was ranked 30th on the Billboard main single chart ‘Hot 100’ (as of April 1). ‘Set Me Free Part 2’ took first place in ‘Digital Song Sales’ and ‘World Digital Song Sales’ respectively, and did well on various charts, including No. 5 in ‘Global (excluding the US)’ and No. 8 in ‘Global 200’. .
Meanwhile, ‘Face”s title song ‘Like Crazy’
(Like Crazy)’ went straight to number 8 in the first week of entry on the UK Official Chart (counting period March 31-April 6) on the ‘Top 100’ chart, recording the highest ranking ever among Korean solo singers.
