Tamer Abdel Hamid (Abu Dhabi)
The Kuwaiti actor, Khaled Al-Nafisi, has a long history and an exceptional artistic career, in which he presented more than 77 works between drama, theater and cinema, which varied between social and comic, as he left an artistic legacy that is passed on from generations.
Al-Nafisi became famous for his role as “Mani’ Alaf” in the series “Al-Hayala”, which he co-starred with Abdel-Hussein Abdel-Ridha, along with a number of other tragic and social series, including “Adeel Al-Rooh”, “My Aunt and My Aunt”, “Al-Sarayat”, “The Heir”, and “A family over a hot tandoor.” Al-Nafisi also presented a number of TV dramas that are still engraved in the viewer’s memory since the mid-1960s. His beginnings were with the series “Memoirs of Bualiwi” in 1964, then the series “The Court of Fareej” 1967, “Mawaqif” 1970, “Taiba and Badr” 1976, “Darb Al-Zalaq” 1977, and “Al-Masir” 1978. Al-Nafisi’s work continued, and he was distinguished. With his comedic roles, he was known for his professionalism in impersonating comic characters in his works, most notably the series “To My Father and Mother with Greetings” in its first and second parts, and “My Aunt Qumasha” with Hayat Al-Fahd, and “Al-Sarayat”. His last dramatic work before his death was the series “Freej Sweileh”, which was shown in 2005, in which he embodied the role of “Saqr bin Naqdi”, and Ibrahim Al-Salal, Ghanem Al-Saleh, Ali Al-Mufidi and Intisar Al-Sharrah co-starred.
