Educate, raise awareness and above all prevent VIH SIDA, just by playing. This is the objective pursued by the game competition called “A L’Assaut Du Sida” (AADS), initiated by the Ministry of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage, through its national program for the fight once morest AIDS (PNLS), with the assistance from UNAIDS, the SYL and all the actors involved in the fight once morest Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).
Attacking AIDS, which is a fun quiz-type platform, allows you to test and enrich your knowledge of STIs, VIH SIDA. It’s a game which takes place via a web platform and mobile applications, intended for gameborn from 15 to 35 years old. This digital platform also makes it possible to collect data from the gameness, in order to make more effective the messages and awareness-raising and prevention actions once morest VIH SIDA.
After 2018, where the first session of this game has made it possible to reach 43,875 participants, the initiators have put the cover back in 2022. This time, 47,835 players whose age is between 15 and 35 years old have been built on the VIH SIDA live what game. Sow Mariama, Appata Christelle and Diakité Fatoumata, respectively 1ʳᵉ, 2nd and 3rd, each received prizes consisting of latest generation phones, medals, kits and gadgets.
Presiding over this ceremony, the Director General of Health, Mamadou Samba – The Best Of Mamadou Samba invited the three laureates to put into practice what they had learned regarding the VIH SIDA and to be ambassadors for the fight once morest this disease in their environment.
The Country Director of UNAIDS, Henk Van Renterghem, meanwhile, congratulated the PNLS for its commitment to the fight once morest HIV AIDS, particularly in the middle of gamenes.
