Deepak Sethi, a 54-year-old resident of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, was discovered deceased in a Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi hotel room. The police were notified and a case of murder was registered, prompting an investigation.
The woman who accompanied Sethi arrived at the hotel room around 8:50 PM on Thursday, March 30th and left around 12:30 AM later that night. When hotel staff received no answer from the room the following day, they found Sethi’s body with evidence of foaming at the mouth.
According to Hotel manager Kamal Bhandari, the two individuals were checked into room number 204 and nothing seemed suspicious upon their arrival. Bhandari stated that Sethi planned to check out at 11 AM the following day and was unresponsive when hotel staff attempted to contact him. Sethi was found deceased when the staff entered the room.
CCTV footage has been released and shows Sethi and the woman checking into the hotel. As the circumstances surrounding Sethi’s death remain unclear, the investigation continues.

The police said that as the death was under mysterious circumstances, a detailed investigation is going on.
Hotel manager Kamal Bhandari also responded to the media that Deepak and the woman were staying in room number 204. ”When I saw the two of them, nothing seemed suspicious. The employee on night duty informed that the woman left the room around 12.24 midnight. Deepak had said that he would check out on Friday at 11 am. According to this, a phone call was made at 9.30 in the morning but there was no response. Didn’t call later because I thought she must be sleeping. But since it was time to check out, Deepak was not seen outside, so the employee went directly to check. He did not respond to knocks on the door. Deepak was found dead when the door was opened. The manager informed the police immediately.
Meanwhile, the CCTV footage of the deceased Deepak and the woman reaching the hotel has also been released. CCTV footage from the reception of the hotel was released by the media on Thursday night.
