Prince Harry and Meghan Markle only worked for Archewell one hour a week in 2021

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to have worked just an hour a week for their Archewell Foundation in 2021, following stepping down from their royal duties a year earlier.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex worked an average of one hour a week, meaning they only worked 52 hours that year, according to the nonprofit’s 2021 tax return .

It’s further worth noting that one hour per week is the standard amount of time that nonprofits declare for board attendance, and should be declared as such, according to the Daily Mail. .

The Archewell Foundation has distributed more than $3 million in grants following raising $13 million from “two wealthy benefactors”.

Speculation around the donations indicates that Oprah Winfrey may be one of the main benefactors, the Daily Mail reported on Friday.

And $3 million was, according to the publication, donated by Harry, who received a $20 million advance for his controversial memoir, “Spare.”
