Farid Offers His Predictions on Trends Up Until April 15th

Good news Ornella! The weather is looking up and we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. The beginning of the week is predicted to be sunny on Monday and Tuesday, followed by slightly cloudy weather on Wednesday with no major impact. However, there may be a few drops on Thursday, but the amount will be minimal. The upcoming weekend is expected to be dry and calm, but still uncertain in terms of cloudiness. These continental currents will still bring cold weather, with a possibility of frost in the morning. However, the temperature during the day may rise to 10 to 14°C if there are sunny periods.

This favorable weather condition is expected to last until the middle of the month, with very little rain in the forecast. This means we can finally enjoy the outdoors!

Moving on to the rest of the country, the core of the depression will shift towards the Netherlands, leading to a west-northwest flow. The southern provinces are expected to have more rainfall in the morning than Brabants, Hainaut, and Flanders in the north. There may be a temporary break in the rainfall near France (Mons-Tournai-coastal axis), but this is uncertain. Overall, the weather will be gloomy and humid with little wind (35-50 km/h).

In the followingnoon, there may be moderate rainfall in the Ardennes and the southeast region, with slightly less rainfall in the center and west, especially close to the French border, where it may calm down intermittently. The temperature is expected to be cool, ranging between 7 to 10°C, but the wind will weaken to 35-45 km/h from the northwest. There will be a final rainy period in the evening, affecting the entire country, but the precipitation will move towards the southeast during the night, leading to a calmer Sunday.

Hi Ornella, we will finally see the end of the tunnel since a clear improvement will take place. We will start the week with sun on Monday, Tuesday and more cloudy weather on Wednesday without consequences. We will have to watch for a few drops on Thursday but the quantities will be very low and we are leaving for a weekend that is still calm and dry but whose cloudiness has yet to be determined. These will be continental currents, so still cold with a possible frost in the morning but we should reach 10 to 14°C during the day if the sunny spells are present. This situation seems to last at least until the middle of the month when I expect very little rain, we will finally be able to enjoy the outdoors a bit!

And on the rest of the country?

The core of the depression will shift towards the Netherlands and the flow will rotate west northwest. More rain in the morning, especially in the southern provinces, while it will be a little less marked in Brabants, Hainaut and Flanders to the north. A small lull is possible like this morning near France (Mons-Tournai-coastal axis) but uncertain… In general, it will be gray and humid with a gloomy but less windy atmosphere (35-50 km/h).

In the followingnoon, it will still rain moderately over the Ardennes and the south-east and perhaps a little less over the center and the west, especially near the French border where it might calm down intermittently. It will be cool with no more than 7 to 10°C, but the positive point is that the wind will weaken, dropping to 35-45 km/h from the northwest. Attention, a last rainy period will affect the whole country in the evening before the evacuation of these precipitations towards the south-east during the night announcing a calmer Sunday.

That’s all for the weather update, folks! It looks like there is finally some good news on the horizon with clear skies and mild temperatures in store for the next few days. While there may be some rain in certain parts of the country, overall it seems like the worst of the wet and windy weather is behind us. Let’s hope that this calm and dry spell holds, so we can all enjoy some much-needed time outdoors. Stay safe and keep an eye on your local forecast for any updates.
