As Asta Zakarevičienė, head of the General Department of the municipality, secretary of council meetings, told “Gimtajam…”, the most meetings – 12 – were held in 2020. In that year, the largest number of draft decisions was submitted – 334, and 330 were adopted.
in 2019 this council held 9 meetings, registered 215 draft decisions, adopted 205. In 2021, 11 council meetings were held, 272 draft decisions were registered, 265 were adopted, the same number of meetings were held in 2022, 286 draft decisions were registered, 279 were adopted. The last year of the term of office is 2023. – this council held 3 meetings, registered 103 draft decisions, it is likely to adopt 47.
11 members of the council did not complete their term
According to the data provided by A. Zakarevičienė, even 11 council members out of 25, to whom voters had given their vote, did not complete the entire term.
During the formation of the new government, Andrius Burnickas, the candidate of the Homeland Union-Lithuanian Christian Democrats (TS-LKD), who was elected as the director of the municipal administration, had to give up his mandate. He was replaced by Ričard Burnick according to the list of party candidates.
Justina Daščioraitė, who became the mayor’s advisor, and Valerijus Rancevs, who became the deputy director of administration, also had to refuse to be elected according to the list of candidates of the public election committee “Vieningi su Ramūnas Godeliauskus”. According to the committee’s list of candidates, they were replaced by Aušra Gudgalienė and Zenonas Viduolis.
Vytautas Saulis refused the mandate of the council member following becoming the mayor’s advisor, elected according to the list of candidates nominated by the Lithuanian Social Democrats. He was replaced by Greta Giriūnaitė according to the list.
In the first year of the term, Vidmantas Maželis, who was elected according to the list of candidates nominated by the Labor Party, gave up his mandate. She was replaced by Vidmantas Karpavičius, who also did not serve the entire term and gave up the mandate as a member of the council in 2022. He was replaced by Audronė Elė Vilčinskienė.
In 2020, only one council member changed. Tadas Stakėnas, who was elected according to the list of candidates of the public election committee “United with Ramūnas Godeliauskus”, refused the mandate. He was replaced according to the list by Karolis Baraišys, whose term unfortunately ended in 2022 and he was replaced according to the list by Paulius Varnas.
In 2021, only one member of the council changed as well. After Antanas Vagoniis, who was elected according to the list of the public election committee “Antanas Vagonis komitetas”, refused the mandate, he was replaced by Inga Vagonė.
In 2022, Stasys Meliūnas, who was elected according to the list of candidates of the public election committee “Valiaus Kazlauskas coalition “For freedom to grow”, gave up his mandate as a member of the council. He was replaced by Virginijus Lukošiūnas.
At the end of the same year, Inga Vagonė gave up her mandate as a member of the council, and was replaced by Jūratė Masteikienė.
