An armed robbery in Anderlecht forces evacuation of café after grenade throwing incident.

The perpetrators, while escaping, threw a grenade at the café but it failed to detonate. This information has been confirmed by the local police in the Brussels-South area, mainly Anderlecht, Saint-Gillis, and Vorst. Following the attack, the café was evacuated, and the area was secured by creating a perimeter. The army’s bomb disposal team, DOVO, was called upon to deactivate the explosive device.
