Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe topped the list of the highest paid players in the French Football League, with a total salary of 6 million euros net per month, according to L’Equipe newspaper. Khalaf Mbappe, who was crowned World Cup Russia 2018 and one of the highest-paid athletes in the world, finished with his teammates in the Brazilian capital club Neymar (3.675 million euros) and Argentine Lionel Messi, winner of the Qatar World Cup 2022, with a penalty shootout at the expense of France (3.375 million), in second and third places, respectively.
The French champion dominates the top ten positions for the highest-paid players in the league in the list issued by the French newspaper. Monaco players Sam Ben Yedder (650,000 euros) and Marseille Jordan Verito (550,000) are among the top 16 highest-paid players in Ligue 1, and they are the only ones who do not defend the colors of Saint-Germain.
