Jerry Aurum, Denada’s ex-husband surprised the public because he was released from prison.
In fact, Jerry Aurum was sentenced to 11 years in prison for the drug case that ensnared him in 2019.
The news regarding Jerry Aurum’s release has become a trend following the father of one child uploaded a recent photo on his Instagram page.

The upload then received a response from Denada. She wrote a clapping emoticon which means cheering up for her ex-husband.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court (MA) granted Jerry Aurum Wirianta’s cassation request by reducing Jerry’s sentence for consuming marijuana.
“Cassation Decision Number 4161 K/PID.SUS/2020 on behalf of the Defendant Jerry Aurum Wirianta SSN alias Koh Jerry stated that he amended the decision by imposing a sentence on the Defendant with imprisonment for 7 (seven) years and a fine of Rp. 800 million, a subsidiary of imprisonment for 2 months. ,” said Supreme Court spokesperson Andi Samsan Nganro quoted from detikcom.
On January 27, 2020, the public prosecutor (JPU) demanded that Jerry Aurum be served 11 years in prison. The request was granted by the West Jakarta District Court (PN Jakbar). The 11-year prison sentence was upheld by the Jakarta High Court (PT).
During the trial, Jerry admitted to using marijuana and ecstasy because he was stressed regarding knowing his son had cancer. He admitted to using the item since 2015.
While Jerry was in prison, Denada maintained good relations by making several visits. Denada emphasized that no matter what happened, Jerry Aurum was the father of his daughter, Aisha.
