DataDome arms itself to fight against malicious robots

Artificial intelligence is in DataDome’s DNA. And it has been since its founding in 2015. The French cybersecurity start-up has developed software that uses machine learning to protect websites once morest online fraud and malicious bots, which steal data, spread spam or conduct denial of service attacks.

Plagues feared by companies and which are not regarding to disappear: in a study published this week, Europol warned once morest the emergence of LLMs (Large Language Models) such as ChatGPT, which offer hackers new weapons to trick Internet users. “With LLMs, attacks such as phishing or online fraud can be created faster, with greater authenticity and on a much more significant scale”, observes the European Criminal Police Agency.
