In the same vein, it is specified that the Casablanca financial center has lost 3 places compared to the previous ranking, i.e. 32 points, its score now rising to 642 points.
According to the same assessment, “in Africa and the Middle East, results have been evenly balanced, with top performing centers generally falling back in the index, while lower performing centers are improving”. And to add that “Dubai and Abu Dhabi remain at the top of the ranking in the region while Casablanca retains the first place in Africa”.
However, Mauritius and Riyadh moved up 10 or more places in the ranking. In this region (MENA and Africa), Casablanca Finance City ranks 4th, behind Dubai (22nd worldwide), Abu Dhabi (35th) and Tel Aviv (53rd).
The financial center of the economic capital of the Kingdom is therefore illustrated as being among the 15 best centers in terms of more reputation, ranking ahead of New York and behind London.
On the other hand, for FinTech rankings and evaluations, Casablanca Finance City is in 87th place among 114 financial centers, with a score of 602 points, gaining 4 places compared to last year.
