a fashion contest from Web3 to 3D.

The fashion platform is joining forces with the metaverse Decentraland and the Republiqe brand for a competition mixing the virtual and real world.

The Fashion Prize for Web3 Creators

A few weeks following Dolce & Gabbana, it’s the turn of Monnier Paris to want to highlight the talents of virtual fashion.

With his Fashion Prize for Web3 Creators, the platform aims to give new visibility to designers operating in metaverses by allowing them to materialize their creations. “The Web3 community of creators is thriving with creativity, with the only limit being the imagination. Virtual fashion, NFTs, Skins, video games, … are some of their forms of expression. If they have the opportunity to present their work in the world of gaming and metaverses, these opportunities remain very limited in the real world. This is why we are delighted, alongside Decentraland & republiqe, to bring them a real spotlight and the opportunity to make their work known and distributed to as many people as possible.” underlines Diaa Elyaacoubi, CEO of Monnier Paris.

Here, the candidates are therefore invited to imagine a bag.
The only constraint: anticipate the use ofa material allowing 3D printing.

At the end of June, a jury made up of ten personalities from gaming, art, crypto, luxury and fashion will reveal the identity of the five finalists who will then see their accessory produced and marketed on the Monnier Paris site as part of a capsule collection presented in drop form.

Through a vote open to the public, a winner will be chosen from among the finalists at the end of September: in addition to mentoring from the competition’s stakeholders, he or she will be invited to create a virtual fashion collection in collaboration with the British brand republiqe, once more sold at Monnier Paris.

Applications, limited to 200 files, are open from March 29 to May 15 on the dedicated page.
