With sparkling charm and classic perfection, the four musicians from Salut Salon inspire audiences around the world. On April 14, the women’s quartet from Hamburg, which was awarded an Echo, will stroll through musical dream worlds with an orchestra for the first time: together with the Salzburg Philharmonic and conductor Elisabeth Fuchs, Angelika Bachmann, Meta Hüpe, Heike Schuch and Kristiina Rokashevich will conjure up their brilliant stage show Dreams on the big stage Festspielhaus – musical fireworks!
Music is played confidently and with a wink across all genre boundaries: from Tchaikovsky’s Winter Dreams, Dukas’ Sorcerer’s Apprenticeship, Goethe’s Hexeneinmaleins, Mendelssohn’s Walpurgis Night to Piazzola’s Tango del Diablo to film music from Harry Potter and Vivaldi with Kung Fu – at Salut Salon there is No “E” or “U” music, but only music that inspires and pleases. There is tap-dancing, rapping and dancing. And when it gets particularly passionate, even the cello bow burns!
